Nice "Boutique" hotel in downtown Adelaide near the central market and Chinatown. Lobby is a bit frenetic since it also accommodates a bar and restaurant in basically the same space as the front desk. Room was a "mini suite", with two open adjoining rooms and a spacious balcony overlooking the city. Bathroom was small but contained all the conveniences we required. Water pressure in shower was great. Front desk staff was mixed . One crew was friendly and helpful, (could also understand them), other crew was not so friendly and accent of one staff member was so strong, I could not understand them We tried calling front desk several times to obtain a reservation for the rooftop bar, and no one answered the phone. When I questioned them about it, I was curtly told they were too busy with other calls, etc. Understaffed if you ask me.

Emily of the Reception staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating when at check-in when we had to check in and head out again very quickly. We certainly appreciated that. All the staff were friendly and engaged, more so than is usually the case in large hotels. The room was comfortable, well furnished and equipped with terrific views. The breakfast menu offered imaginative different choices and our selections were freshly cooked and very tasty. Our room plus breakfast rate was very reasonable given the high quality and location.

The breakfast was fantastic, I would definitely recommend the package that includes breakfast it was a great way to start each day. There were so many healthy options and we were travelling for a National Athletics meet so a nutritious and fresh breakfast is something we value. Then to be just across the road from the Markets that were overflowing with fresh produce, colour and very interesting experiences was better than expected so we have left our first trip to Adelaide very eager to return.

Tina

Breakfast was beyond what I expected. Buffet including cereals, juice, fruit, yoghurt, pastries plus cooked meal choice of something from a la carte menu. Everything delicious. Room with an amazing view on the 15th floor did not disappoint, view towards the beach and the hills. Comfortable bed, small welcome cake and surprise welcome message on the television. Great rooftop bar. All staff very friendly and efficient. Excellent location.

Rosalie

We had a King room and we liked the spacious room and bathroom. The table with two chairs and the sofa were much appreciated. The decoration was tasteful. Comfortable beds too. and enough space for two big suitcases and some other small bags we brought along. The hotel is in a small street, with a nice coffee place almost next door and a very good Italian restaurant opposite the hotel.
